Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Baxter Ventures, LLC, doing business as Evergood Communications (“Evergood,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. Privacy and security come first at Evergood. We collect as little as we can, we never sell personal information, and we never share mobile opt-in data for marketing.
The short version
- Our website has no tracking: no analytics, no ad pixels, no tracking cookies, no third-party fonts or scripts.
- We never sell personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in our Privacy Policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties.
- When we run texting and call handling for a business, that business's customers' information belongs to the business. We use it only to provide the service.
- We use strong security: encryption in transit, phishing-resistant sign-in, least-privilege access, and data minimization.
- Questions or requests: support@getevergood.com.
1. Who this policy covers
- Website visitors to getevergood.com.
- Prospects and clients: the home service businesses we talk with or serve, and the people who work for them.
- Our clients' end customers: people who call, text, chat with, or book with a business that uses Evergood. For this information, we act as a service provider (processor) for that business, which decides how it is used. If you're an end customer, the business's own privacy policy also applies, and you can contact the business directly. We'll help them respond.
2. What we collect
2.1 Website visitors
- We don't use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, session recording, or third-party fonts or scripts. The site doesn't set tracking cookies.
- Our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. It's used for security and reliability, not to profile you, and kept only briefly [VERIFY: host and log retention, target 30 days or less].
- If you email us, we get your email address and what you write.
2.2 Prospects and clients
- Business contact information: name, business name, role, business email, business phone, and business address. For outreach, we may get business contact details from public sources (such as Google Business Profiles, business websites, and state license lists) and from business data providers. [VERIFY: disclosure wording for B2B data sources.]
- Missed Call Check information: public information about your business (hours, reviews, website features) and any numbers you give us. We place a test call only with your written OK, and it isn't recorded.
- Account and onboarding information: what you enter in the onboarding form (business hours, services, review link, urgent-alert contacts, AI Receptionist answers).
- Carrier registration information: the business details carriers require for A2P 10DLC registration, including a business tax ID. We enter it only into the registration system and don't keep it in our own files. [VERIFY]
- Billing information: handled by our payment processor. We see the last four digits, card type, and payment status, never the full card number.
- Communications: emails, texts, and call notes between you and us.
2.3 Our clients' end customers (as a service provider)
- Phone number and, if given, name and email.
- Call details: time, duration, whether the call was answered or missed, and the number called.
- Text messages and chat messages to and from the business.
- If the business uses the AI Receptionist: call audio recordings, transcripts, and call summaries [VERIFY: whether recordings are kept or only transcripts], plus job details the caller gives.
- Appointment details and review-request status (sent or not; we don't see or filter by review sentiment).
- Opt-in and opt-out records (what was agreed to, when, and how; and any STOP request).
2.4 What we don't collect
We don't ask for or store Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, bank logins, driver's license numbers, or biometric data. We ask clients not to collect sensitive information (such as health details) by text. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Services are for businesses.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Services: send missed call texts, route two-way texts, send reminders and review requests, run the chat widget and AI Receptionist, and build monthly reports.
- To set up and register texting with carriers (A2P 10DLC).
- To bill, support, and communicate with clients, including account texts to clients who opt in.
- To send B2B emails to businesses about our services, with our mailing address and a working opt-out in every email (CAN-SPAM). We don't text prospects who haven't asked us to.
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, honor opt-outs, and meet legal duties.
- To improve the Services using counts that can't identify anyone.
We use end customer information only on our client's instructions and to provide the Services to that client. We don't combine one client's end customer data with another's, and we never use it for our own marketing.
4. Text messages (SMS) and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in our Privacy Policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties.
- We share phone numbers and message content only with the phone and messaging providers that deliver the texts, and only to deliver them.
- Every texting program honors STOP. Opt-out records are kept so that people who opted out aren't texted again.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Our SMS Terms are in Appendix A of our Terms of Service at https://getevergood.com/terms.
5. How we share information
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers (subprocessors) who help us run the Services, listed by category below, each limited to what it needs and bound by terms that protect the data.
- With the client business, for its own end customers' information.
- For legal reasons: to follow a valid law, subpoena, or court order (we tell the client first unless the law forbids it), or to protect people's safety or rights.
- In a business transfer, such as a sale of the business, under this policy's protections. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not transferred for anyone's marketing use.
Subprocessors by category
| Category | What it does | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Customer-communications platform | Hosts client accounts; runs texting, call routing, chat widget, reminders, review requests, AI Receptionist, reports | Client account data; end customer phone numbers, messages, call records |
| Telephone and messaging carriers and connectivity providers | Deliver calls and texts; A2P 10DLC registration (incl. The Campaign Registry) | Phone numbers, message content, call data; business registration details |
| AI voice and language provider | Understands and answers calls for the AI Receptionist add-on | Call audio, transcripts [VERIFY: provider terms bar training on our data] |
| Payment processor | Charges subscription fees | Billing name, card details (held by the processor) |
| Email and office software | Business email and documents | Business contact information, communications |
| Domain, DNS and website hosting | Delivers and secures the website | Basic technical logs |
We'll give clients the current list of named subprocessors on request at support@getevergood.com, and tell clients before adding one that processes their data.
6. How we protect information
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) everywhere we can; encryption at rest provided by our hosting and platform providers [VERIFY].
- Phishing-resistant sign-in (passkeys, security keys, or authenticator apps) on all Evergood accounts. No text-message codes for our own sign-ins.
- Least-privilege access, reviewed regularly; access removed when no longer needed.
- Data minimization: we don't collect what we don't need, and we delete what we no longer need.
- Registrar lock, DNSSEC, and email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) on our domains.
- A password manager for all credentials; no passwords in documents or email.
- We prefer providers with strong, modern encryption, including post-quantum-ready connections where offered.
- If a breach affects your information, we'll notify affected clients without undue delay and meet the notice rules in Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 521 and other laws that apply. [VERIFY]
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
7. How long we keep information
| Information | How long [VERIFY all periods] |
|---|---|
| Website technical logs | 30 days or less (by the hosting provider) |
| Prospect contact data | Until you opt out, or 12 months without a reply, whichever comes first |
| Email opt-out (suppression) list | As long as needed to keep honoring the opt-out (email address only) |
| Client account and onboarding data | While subscribed, plus 30 days for export, then deleted within 90 days |
| End customer messages, call records, recordings, transcripts | While the client is subscribed (or shorter if the client sets it), then deleted within 90 days after service ends |
| Opt-in and opt-out records | Up to 4 years after the last message, to show compliance and prevent re-texting |
| Billing and tax records | As long as tax law requires (generally up to 7 years) |
| Backups | Age out on the provider's normal schedule |
8. Your choices and rights
- Texts: reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Email: use the opt-out link or reply “remove” in any of our emails.
- Access, correction, deletion, and a copy of your data: email support@getevergood.com. We'll confirm the request and respond within 45 days (we may extend once by 45 days if needed, and we'll tell you why). We'll verify your identity in a way that fits the request, and we won't ask for more information than we need.
- Texas residents: under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct it, delete it, get a portable copy, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We don't sell personal data, do targeted advertising, or profile people in ways that produce legal or similarly significant effects. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal”; we'll respond within 60 days. If you're still unhappy, you can contact the Texas Attorney General at https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection. [VERIFY: TDPSA applicability; Evergood may qualify for the small-business exemption, but the sensitive-data consent rule still applies.]
- End customers of our clients: please contact the business you dealt with. If you contact us, we'll pass your request to that business and help it respond.
- Residents of other states: you may have similar rights under your state's law. Email us and we'll honor them as the law requires.
- Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: our site doesn't track you, so there's nothing to turn off. We treat a GPC signal as an opt-out of sale and targeted advertising, which we don't do anyway.
- We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
9. Where information is kept
We serve U.S. businesses, and information is stored and processed in the United States [VERIFY: confirm each provider's data location].
10. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll post the new version with a new effective date and email clients at least 30 days before it takes effect. We won't use information already collected in a materially different way without consent where the law requires it.
